Ra Lynn LoneWalker is an eclectic mix of European and Shoshone from The Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. “I’m a storyteller,” he explains when asked how he decided to become an author. “I listen to the ancestors, the elders, and the living spirits of nature to help tell my stories. I have white skin, a red soul, and an open mind. It’s in this juxtaposition of cultures where the fundamental ideas for my writing are based. Beyond my cultural makeup, my work trickles down from the serendipitous experiences that life seems to consistently bring me. The experiences are gifts that should be shared. The Great Sprit has requested it of me, so it must be.” LoneWalker currently lives in Reno, Nevada.
